I hired an attorney from murthy for EAD/ AC21 , it was good talking to them. But make sure that, be prepared with all the questions and they tend to side track and don't let them do that. If you feel they are taking irrelevant stuff , interrupt immediately .

That means, after the forms signed, you got one year to apply for 485. Once applied, USCIS may request for another medical after 18 months.

My main question is:
Comparing two forms there are 4 additional tests recently added in the new I693 form. I needed to know if I can file my I-485 without any issues with the medical completed in May'08 or need to fill out the new form again with new set of medical exams?
I am trying to understand if USCIS will send an RFE because my I693 (may'08) form does not have these 4 additional tests.

Same question. My friend is pregnant and wants to deliver the baby in India. They have filed for AoS now. Howevr they are not sure how to bring ther baby in if they deliver in India.

According to my attorney, if you are in valid H1 status, your wife can get her H4 stamped, reenter on an H4 and still maintain her GC application. Once she comes back, she can go back to work on her EAD and transition into I-485 pending status.

Is it possible ? If it is possible to pick up the legal immigration provisions from CIR and make a new Bill, we should proceed with that option,so that it will be passed quickly before CIR. We should talk to our senators for this option.

is'nt an Advanced parol document a re-entry permit ???
USCIS has different meening for Re-entry permit and Advance parole. Infact the eligibility criteria is different for both. Look at I-131 Instructions. Its very clearly specified there.

2. Refugee Travel Document - A refugee travel document is issued to a person classified as a refugee or asylee, or to a permanent resident who obtained such status as a result of being a refugee or asylee in the United States. Persons who hold aslyee or refugee status, and are not permanent residents, must have a refugee travel document to return to the United States after temporary travel abroad.
3. Advance Parole Document - An advance parole document is issued solely to authorize the temporary parole of a person into the United States.
The document may be accepted by a transportation company in lieu of a visa as an authorization for the holder to travel to the United States. An advance parole document is not issued to serve in place of any required passport.
Advance parole is an extraordinary measure used sparingly to bring an otherwise inadmissible alien to the United States for a temporary period of time due to a compelling emergency. Advance parole cannot be used to circumvent the normal visa issuing procedures and is not a means to bypass delays in visa issuance.
NOTE: If you are in the United States and wish to travel abroad, you do not need to apply for advance parole if both conditions described below in A and B are met:
B. A Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was filed on your behalf and is pending with USCIS.

USCIS demand sheet shows 17000 GC inventory until 2006. When the EB1 spillover to EB2 is 12000, don't understand how the dates moved less than 2 months. It looks like USCIS is very confused and making us all confused.

There are 2 processing centers - Atlanta and Chicago...but all the audited cases can be processed only at Atlanta, i.e chicago audited cases will be transferred to Atlanta....
I believe there is only one processing center for PERM now. Only Atlanta is doing the PERM processing. All cases are trasfered to atlanta from chicago. Thats what I heared from Ron Gocher.

you are right we may sue congress but to win that is much much tough as even the judge is been appointed by the president which i guess is a member of congress :) but one can certainly try.

I already quit the job since i could not bear him..any more nd his mental torture...I ma planing to give a compliant to DOL and wanna c if it can be helpful to me..Si i cnat record anymore i tohught of recording it but never really got a courage to do that. I will c if i cna sue him...
Try to record few of your conversations with him with a hidden camcorder and/or voice recorder, once you are sure you have enough evidence - talk to a good lawyer, also file for a h1b transfer and change job and once you get into your new job sue this old employer for mental agony and torture etc....... lawyer will manage this
