upgraded on June25 to PP got status changed on 30th. Received approval notice by attorney on July 6th

Gurus,
Yesterday my lawyer received receipts for my spouse and kids (485/EAD/AP) but not for myself. Now my lawyer is insisting upon sending me the copies of the receipts and do not want to send me the originals. With respect to that I have following questions:
1) Is that o.k having copies only or we should have originals? If we do not
have originals what bad may happen?
2) Either my lawyer or I have not received any of my receipts but we
received all receipts of my family. Is this normal? How long should we wait
for my receipts before contacting USCIS? By the way USCIS already gave
me my all numbers for teh receipts and according to USCIS my receipts
already mailed on Sept 14th. What would be advisable action for me in
this case?
3) None of the receipts of my family contain Priority Date. PD field is blank on all receipts. Is this O.K.?

1) For our point of view, only RN number should be okay-this gives us liverage to track and see updates on your filings. Frankly, I never bothered even that as I received FP notices before RN from attorney and FP notices carry RN numbers.
2) Question is should we send the 'Stamped Original FP notice' after finger printing to attorney instead of copies? (As this is a kind of document with proof of FP having done and this is our copy). My attorney asked me for original FP notices -stamped by FBI after FP-I would rather send copies and keep original with me.
Please, let me your thoughts on this

I am in the same boat. I have recieved my 2nd EAD with wrong dates (validity dates same as my 1st EAD). Called USCIS and was told to fill out I-765 and along with the card and send it back to service center (w/o any fees).
Just curious if it worked out for you, as I am afraid that I don't want to re-start my 90-day clock all over again.

I think in 2000 some of the unused visa's are recaptured and allocated.
That would be the reason the numbers are not looking exact in each year

But fun aside, you're right. Times of India makes it sound as if H1Bs pretty much run everything and create everything and that H1Bs are like rockstars or something.
One reason I never read Times of India is that they somehow have figured out to beat pop-up blockers and my screen fills up with pop ups for airlines agents and phone cards and its really irritating.
Secondly, their content is becoming like a tabloid's content would be.

Employees like me no where related to there fraud. how USCIS reacts on employees pending 485?. Most of the employees are moved out using AC21.
It all depends on the case to case. I know the company which is in the same situation. I heard bad stories that happened to their employees.

Brief Description of my Case Joined Vision Systems Group INC,(VSGInc), Southplains Field, NJ in the year March 2003. My H1B was transferred to VSG Inc from my previous company which got merged with another company. VSG Inc filed my Labor Certification in 2003 (EB3) on Dec 23,2003 which has gone to Back Log Center, Harrisburg, PA and got approved only in Dec, 2006. In July 2006 VSG Inc, filed PERM under EB2 and got approved and filed I140 under EB2. But when USCIS sent RFE, my company has withdrawn the I140 without responding to RFE. In July 2007, during 2007 visa fiasco, VSG Inc filed I140 electronically, and I485 and other papers concurrently in July 02, 2007. Got the receipt notices for I140 dated 07-02-2007 and for I485 and others on 06-05-2008. Received EAD and travel docs in July 2008. My I140 is still pending at Nebraska Service center as on date. When contacted trough the Local Congress Man, Dept. Of Home land Security replied on Feb 09, 2009 as follows: �The processing of I-140 has been delayed, not yet ready for decision as it has been selected for extended security review, independent of FBI name check and fingerprints. Until the review is completed, we cannot move forward on this case. We will make every effort to make a decision on this case as soon as the review is complete. However, we have contacted the security team POC to see if this case can be reviewed to see if it can be moved for adjudication.� VISION SYSTEMS GROUP, INC., a New Jersey Domestic Profit Corporation, with a branch office in Coon Rapids, Iowa, was also indicted in a ten count federal indictment that included one count of conspiracy, eight counts of mail fraud, and one count of �Notice of Forfeiture� in the amount of $7,400,000. The investigation is being conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in collaboration with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services - Fraud Detection and National Security Division (FDNS); U.S. Department of Labor - Office of Inspector General; U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS); U.S. Department of State; and is supported by the U.S. Attorney�s Office for the Southern District of Iowa. I too vote SBI.....do not use ICICI...
I have always used ICICI in the past...and recently started using SBI....they pay slightly more exchange rate than ICICI...and moreover it is a national bank....makes me feel good to use SBI compared to ICICI....
